Land of Origins

The Heart of
Coffee Culture

Ethiopia is not just where coffee began; it is where coffee remains a sacred ritual. In every village, the Abol, Tona, and Baraka — the three rounds of the traditional coffee ceremony — bind families and communities together.

At Green Acres, we carry this heritage in every bean. We believe that exporting coffee is about sharing a culture that has perfected the art of the bean for over a thousand years.

Our Story

About Green Acres

Connecting the World with Ethiopia's Finest Coffee

Greenacres Industrial PLC is a second-generation Ethiopian coffee exporting company built on heritage, passion, and deep respect for the land that produces some of the world's finest coffees.

Our story began decades ago with a simple mission: to share Ethiopia's extraordinary coffee with the world. What started as a family passion for sourcing and trading exceptional beans has grown into a trusted export business connecting Ethiopian farmers with international coffee roasters and traders.

Today, from our headquarters in Addis Ababa, we proudly export premium Ethiopian Arabica green coffee beans sourced from the country's most celebrated coffee regions — Sidama, Guji, Yirgacheffe, Limu, Kaffa, Jimma, Teppi, and Andrecha. Each origin carries its own unique character, flavor profile, and story, and we work closely with local farmers, cooperatives, and suppliers to ensure quality, traceability, and sustainability at every step.

As a second-generation company, we combine traditional knowledge of Ethiopian coffee sourcing with modern global trade expertise. This allows us to deliver consistent quality, transparent sourcing, and competitive pricing to our partners across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North America.

At Greenacres, coffee is more than a commodity — it is culture, heritage, and connection. Every shipment we export carries the rich story of Ethiopian coffee and the dedication of the farmers who grow it.

The Journey

From Ethiopian Farms to Your Roastery.

Every cup of Green Acres coffee tells a story — of highland origins, artisan craftsmanship, and a commitment to excellence that spans generations.

01

Highland Origins

Our coffee grows in the misty highlands of Ethiopia at elevations between 1,500 and 2,200 meters, where the climate and rich volcanic soil create the perfect conditions for exceptional flavor development.

02

Hand-Picked Selection

Every cherry is hand-picked at peak ripeness by our partner farmers. This selective harvesting ensures only the finest beans make it into our lots, preserving the nuanced flavors unique to each region.

03

Artisan Processing

Whether washed for clarity or natural for fruit-forward complexity, our processing methods are refined over generations. Each bean is carefully dried and sorted to meet our exacting quality standards.

04

Expert Cupping

Our Q-graders evaluate every lot through rigorous cupping sessions, scoring for aroma, flavor, acidity, and body. Only beans that meet our specialty threshold are selected for export.
